Abstract

Sfruttata per esigenze di difesa, navigazione, trasporto, irrigazione, funzionamento di opifici, l’acqua ha progressivamente perso importanza tanto che oggi i rapporti fra città, territorio e sistema delle acque si sono deteriorati. Il volume si propone di: ripercorrere la natura delle relazioni tra acqua e paesaggio urbano; interpretare il mutare delle relazioni attraverso le immagini; analizzare l’uso dell’acqua nel progetto di paesaggio contemporaneo; identificare gli strumenti concettuali e compositivi propri del progetto di paesaggio in grado di informare ed orientare le progettazioni future.
